Our editorial standards
Reveal the Dupes publishes comparisons to help shoppers understand trade-offs. We distinguish original observations from research summaries, link to sources where available, and record meaningful uncertainty. Our editors should assess similarity based on criteria relevant to the product rather than reputation, discount percentage or popularity alone.
Evidence labels
Hands-on tested means an editor actually examined or used the products and explains the scope of that test. Source-checked research means a comparison was prepared from attributable published information. Reader-reported means personal impressions have been submitted without independent testing. Not yet verified means a claim needs more evidence and is not presented as a completed verdict.
Conflicts, affiliate links and sponsorship
Affiliate commissions and product samples must be disclosed where applicable. Sponsored editorial projects must be identified and should not control findings. No paid placement should be described as an independent test. We do not guarantee that a product recommendation remains appropriate as product specifications or prices change.
Corrections
We welcome factual correction requests supported by manufacturer documents, product photographs or other reliable information. Send your correction through Contact, with the article link and supporting detail. When an error materially changes the conclusion, we will correct the piece and explain the revision.
